We’re Downtown Visions, charged with transforming Downtown Wilmington through our non-profit Main Street Wilmington Program which is certified by the National Trust for Historic Preservation. Main Street Wilmington addresses not only saving historic buildings, but also small business recruitment, business marketing and promotion along with the creation of new jobs.

· Forty new stores or restaurants opened Downtown in the past two years

· Main Street Wilmington’s Façade Improvement program has awarded eleven grants to restore the appearance of historic buildings

· The Queen Theatre has reopened after fifty years, home of World Café Live

· Lower Market Street (LOMA) is 100% leased with new businesses & residents

· Every dollar invested in the Main Street Wilmington Program produces a $27 dollar return to the local economy

· The Façade Improvement Program provides three construction jobs for each façade while the work is ongoing

· Main Street Wilmington’s #Be Here Project literally puts all of our Downtown businesses “on the digital map” with the intent of increasing sales which creates the need to hire more employees.
